The Penny 510 sink is extremely versatile and we see it being used in both the small kitchens and the laundry. People are familiar with this size because it matches a similar profile of the classic pressed tubs, but with the extra depth it allows you to clean pots and pans as well and being big enough to soak things in. No wonder it's the most popular size.

We recommend that before buying a sink you measure, measure and measure again the area you're working with and quadruple-check the measurements and the size of the sink is what you're after.
Why? Because sinks are VERY LARGE parcels which means they cost a fortune to send around. As much as we'd love to offer it, we do not offer free returns, so please triple check and try to choose the right sink the first time round because it breaks our hearts (and sometimes your wallet) when you choose the wrong colour or size and need to do a return. If you're ever unsure first ask your cabinet maker because they are seriously the experts in getting this right, if you're still unsure please send us an email or give us a call
The other thing to consider when getting a stainless steel sink is that stainless steel scratches! Yes we know, we've produced a beautiful brushed stainless steel finish on all our sinks, and yes we are using a very high quality stainless steel but unfortunately, scratches are inevitable on steel. If you'd like to prolong your brushed finish you can consider looking at the sink protector grids.

I loved the sink Brushed Gunmetal Penny 510x450 Single Bowl Sink.
We purchased it because of it colour and durability.
However this was short lived as it scratches extremely easy.
and loses its gorgeous look.
Now i have a new laundry with a sink that looks second hand and old.
I was advised to use the protection grid but this is hard to do in the laundry.
I was also advised to avoid bleach and so on.
I may have chosen a different sink if i had known all this information prior to purchasing.
So impressed with the quality of this sink and how good it looks.
