Buildmat supplies rimless toilet suites to renovators, builders and homeowners across Australia, so the range is built around what works in local bathrooms, the right trap type, inlet position and WELS-rated flush system, not just the finish. Whether you're choosing a floor mounted close coupled suite or a wall-hung model with a concealed cistern, you can filter by type, brand or finish to narrow things down, and for a full walk-through of rimless technology, trap types and installation checks, our toilet buying guide covers the detail.

Explore rimless toilets by type

Whether you want wall-hung options, a floor mounted suite, or a rimless smart toilet, here's what Buildmat stocks:

  • Wall-hung rimless toilets float above the floor for easy mop-around cleaning, good for powder rooms and ensuites.

  • Rimless back to wall toilet suites sit flush against the wall with an exposed cistern on a floor mounted toilet pan, straightforward to install in a family bathroom reno.

  • Wall-faced rimless toilets conceal the cistern behind the wall (also called concealed cistern toilets) for a clean, minimal look.

  • Rimless smart toilets from Johnson Suisse Avanzo and Listo, Lafeme Thea Vega and the Zumi Zero combine rimless bowls with heated seats, bidet wash and Tornado-style flushing.

  • Comfort height and ambulant rimless suites offer raised pan height and accessible button placement for AS1428.1 bathrooms.

What we'd check before you buy a rimless toilet

  • Back inlet (back entry) vs bottom inlet. These describe where the water supply connects to your cistern, not the outlet trap. Match this to your existing plumbing before you order, since it's the single most common return we see on toilet suites.

  • Confirm your pan's outlet type. Traditional toilets and rimless suites both come in S-trap (floor outlet) and P-trap (wall outlet) configurations. If you're replacing an existing toilet rather than starting fresh, this is the one to get right first.

  • Wall-hung needs an in-wall frame. If you're moving from a traditional floor mounted toilet to a wall-hung rimless suite, you'll need an in-wall cistern frame, not just the pan.

FAQS
