ADP Basins
The ADP advantage
At Buildmat, we stock a massive selection of ADP basins, including popular models like the ADP Margot and ADP Hope. Use the filters to sort by installation type, shape, and finish, or explore our buying guide below to find the right basin for your vanity top.
Shop ADP basins by installation type
How your basin mounts to the vanity top dictates the plumbing requirements, the bench space you have left, and the overall look of the vanity.
- Above counter basin: The basin sits entirely on top of the stone or timber benchtop. This style makes the basin a central design feature and works beautifully with tall basin mixers or wall-mounted tapware. The ADP Margot and ADP Max above counter basins are standouts in this category.
- Semi-inset basin: The basin drops partially into the benchtop, leaving just the upper rim exposed. It offers the architectural look of an above counter basin but sits lower, making it a great choice for standard-height vanities.
- Semi recessed basins: The basin overhangs the front of the vanity cabinet. This is the smartest solution when you need a full-sized, deep basin but only have room for a narrow vanity unit.
- Under counter basins: Also known as undermount basins, these are installed entirely underneath the stone benchtop. They create a completely flat, uninterrupted surface that is incredibly easy to wipe down.
- Wall hung basins: Also called wall basins, these mount directly to the wall without a vanity cabinet underneath. They are perfect for tiny powder rooms where floor space is at an absolute premium.
- Freestanding basins: A dramatic, floor-to-ceiling pedestal basin that makes a bold architectural statement in luxury bathrooms.
ADP sinks by material and finish
ADP basins are available in a range of premium materials, allowing you to match the exact texture and tone of your bathroom design.
- Solid surface basin: Made from a premium composite material that is non-porous, incredibly durable, and warm to the touch. Solid surface basins are available in stunning matte white and gloss white finishes.
- Ceramic basin: The classic, highly durable option. A gloss white ceramic basin is scratch-resistant, easy to clean, and timeless.
- Concrete: For a raw, industrial aesthetic. ADP offers beautiful concrete finishes in shades like matte concrete, matte ivory, and matte forest.
- Cast marble: A heavy, luxurious composite that allows for sharp, precise architectural angles that traditional ceramic cannot achieve.
ADP basins by shape
The shape of your basin should complement the lines of your tapware and the profile of your vanity.
- Round: Softens the hard angles of a square bathroom. The ADP Margot is a perfect example of a perfectly proportioned round basin.
- Rectangular: Delivers a sharp, contemporary look. Ideal for modern, minimalist spaces.
- Arch & Oval: A beautiful middle ground that offers the length of a rectangular basin with the softer, sweeping curves of a round basin.
- Single bowl vs double bowl: For a master ensuite, consider mounting two matching single bowl basins side-by-side on a wide vanity, or opt for a dedicated double bowl unit.
What to check before you buy an ADP sink
- Vanity top compatibility: Not all basins work with all vanity tops. An under counter basin requires a custom-cut stone benchtop, while an above counter basin can be mounted on stone, timber, or laminate.
- Tapware pairing: If you choose a tall above counter basin, you must pair it with an extended "tower" basin mixer or wall-mounted basin spouts. A standard-height mixer will not clear the rim.
- Basin wastes: You will need to purchase a plug & waste separately. Ensure you check whether your basin has an overflow hole, as this dictates whether you need an overflow or non-overflow pop-up waste.
Complete the vanity
An ADP basin is just one part of the vanity setup. Here is what you need to finish the installation.
- ADP Vanities: Pair your basin with a premium Australian-made vanity from the ADP Waverley, ADP London, or ADP Soul collections.
- ADP Tapware: Match your basin with ADP's premium tapware, available in finishes like brushed nickel, gunmetal, and matte black.
- Bottle traps: If you are installing a wall hung basin where the plumbing is exposed beneath, you will need a decorative bottle trap to match your tapware finish.
We also have a range of other bathroom tapware, mirrors, shaving cabinets and bathroom accessories to complete your renovation.
