We supply Stanza fans to homeowners fitting out a room or two, and to builders and landlords kitting out whole houses on a budget. The range is matched to value and simplicity first, with a wall controller in the box and an indoor and covered outdoor rating across every model. Filter by sweep, motor type, light option and colour, and pick up a size-matched remote or extension rod from our Ventair ceiling fan accessories.

Why choose a Ventair Stanza ceiling fan

The Stanza is the fan we point people to when they need several of them. It's the lowest entry price in our Ventair range, and every model ships with a three-speed wall controller, so there's nothing extra to buy before it works. Builders fitting out multiple bedrooms in one go tend to land here.

Here's the part most people don't expect: the cheapest Stanza is a DC fan. The 1200mm Stanza DC sits at around $170, below the AC equivalent, while drawing between 4.5W and 20W against the AC's 17W to 55W. Both use glass fibre composite blades, suit raked ceilings up to 18°, are rated for indoor and covered outdoor use, and carry a four-year warranty (two years in-home plus two years motor replacement).

Stanza ceiling fans by type

  • Stanza DC ceiling fans: Energy-saving DC motors in 1200mm and 1400mm, with a three-speed wall control included. Add the optional Vario remote for six speeds, a timer and reverse mode. Available fan-only in white or with clear polycarbonate blades, with two B22 lamp holders, or with a dimmable 20W LED.
  • Stanza AC ceiling fans: Ventair's True-Spin AC motor with an ECO speed setting, in 900mm, 1220mm and 1400mm. Available in white or black.
  • Stanza fans with LED light: A 20W natural white LED panel, available on the 1200mm DC and the 1220mm and 1400mm AC models.
  • Stanza fans with B22 lamp holders: Two B22 holders under an acrylic diffuser, taking globes up to 7W each. Pick your own globe colour and brightness.
  • Stanza fan-only models: The simplest option, for rooms already lit by downlights.

What we'd check before you buy

  • Whether you need winter mode. This is the question that catches people out most on the Stanza. The AC models don't reverse at all. The DC models do, but only through the optional Vario remote. If pushing warm air down in winter matters to you, go DC and budget for the remote.
  • Globes for lamp holder models. The B22 versions don't come with globes, and we regularly hear from customers who've had the fan installed and then can't turn the light on. Grab two globes (7W max each) at the same time.
  • The right remote for your fan. Stanza remotes aren't interchangeable across the range. DC models use the Vario remote, AC 900mm models use one remote, and AC 1220mm and 1400mm models use another. Check the model listed on the fan before ordering. If you know you want a remote, the 1220mm AC with lamp holders comes with a three-speed remote in the box.
  • Extension rods on LED models. On higher or raked ceilings, most Stanza fans take a 600mm or 900mm rod. The AC LED models only take a 900mm LED-specific rod, so match the rod to your exact model.
  • Your ceiling height. Blades need to sit at least 2.1m above the floor. On a standard 2.4m ceiling, a fan with a light underneath leaves little room, so measure first.
