The Maya 380 sink is a sink that was created for small kitchens and small cabinets, it was born from our team listening to customers which makes it extra special to our product design team. We had small sinks in our range but it was either too small or too big for a 400 cabinet. Everyone found it hard to maximise that scenario and we know because customers kept calling us and asking for a sink that fit in a 400 cabinet, so the Maya 380 was designed so that it would just fit snug inside.
Now even though the Maya 380 was designed for a 400 cabinet, not all 400 cabinets are made the same so please double check with your cabinet maker before purchasing.

We recommend that before buying a sink you measure, measure and measure again the area you're working with and quadruple-check the measurements and the size of the sink is what you're after.
Why? Because sinks are VERY LARGE parcels which means they cost a fortune to send around. As much as we'd love to offer it, we do not offer free returns, so please triple check and try to choose the right sink the first time round because it breaks our hearts (and sometimes your wallet) when you choose the wrong colour or size and need to do a return. If you're ever unsure first ask your cabinet maker because they are seriously the experts in getting this right, if you're still unsure please send us an email or give us a call
The other thing to consider when getting a stainless steel sink is that stainless steel scratches! Yes we know, we've produced a beautiful brushed stainless steel finish on all our sinks, and yes we are using a very high quality stainless steel but unfortunately, scratches are inevitable on steel. If you'd like to prolong your brushed finish you can consider looking at the sink protector grids.

It means that the each corner is carefully crafted and that each wall of the sink is a true 1.5mm thick stainless steel instead of a sheet of metal being stretched by a large machine press into shape.

I recently decided to upgrade my laundry room, and one of the essential components I needed was a new laundry sink. After extensive research, I settled on the Maya 380x450 Single Bowl Sink from Buildmat, and I must say that I've been quite pleased with my purchase.
The Maya Single Bowl Sink boasts a simple yet functional design. It's made from hardwearing 304 grade Stainless Steel, which not only gives it a sleek and modern appearance but also ensures its durability.
While only 330 x 400 x 250mm, one of the standout features of the sink is its size and capacity. While small it still feels large for the space. It’s deep and spacious, allowing me to soak and hand-wash larger items with ease.
The sink has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality. The deep basin allows for ample water storage, and the included drain kit is a nice addition.
In terms of pricing, i think the Maya 380 Single Bowl Sink falls somewhere in the lower-range, especially with the free shipping.
