- 1500mm double vanities: the most popular width for a shared master bathroom. Comfortable for two people in daily use.
- 1800mm double vanities: generous bench space on both sides. Best suited to larger master bathrooms where the wall allows it.
Shop Double Vanities by Style
- Wall hung double vanities: floating off the floor, easier to clean underneath, and visually lighter in the room. Requires solid wall framing across the full width.
- Freestanding double vanities: floor-mounted and more furniture-like in appearance. Better suited where wall framing can't support a hung unit.
- White double vanities: clean and timeless, works with most tapware finishes.
- Woodgrain double vanities: natural oak, woodland oak, black oak and harvest oak options across the range.
Why Choose a Double Vanity Bathroom?
A double vanity solves the most common complaint about shared bathrooms: two people, one sink, one mirror, and no good solution. With a double sink vanity, each person has their own basin, their own side of the bench, and their own drawer space.
Beyond the practicality, a double vanity bathroom also reads as a premium feature. In master bathrooms especially, it's one of the details that buyers notice and value when it comes time to sell.
What We'd Check Before You Buy
- Wall hung or freestanding. Wall hung vanities need solid framing across the full 1500 or 1800mm span. Confirm this with your builder before ordering — retrofitting framing after waterproofing is a significant job.
- Cabinet only or with top. Most units in our range are cabinet only at the entry price point. Factor in a benchtop, undermount basins or above counter basins, and basin wastes from the start — they add up.
- Double vanity sizes. Standard widths are 1500mm and 1800mm. Measure the wall carefully, but also check door swings, toilet clearance, and any bulkheads. It's the thing customers tell us most often that they wish they'd checked earlier.
- Tapware finish. You'll need two sets of basin tapware. Lock in your finish (brushed nickel, brushed brass, or matte black) before buying, so handles, taps, and accessories all sit in the same family.
- Storage above the vanity. Most units include soft-closing drawers across the full width. If you need storage above, shaving cabinets are easier to plan in before the mirrors go up.
Finish the Whole Space
A double vanity bathroom needs everything doubled up. Two sets of basin tapware, handles across the full width, and a mirror or pair of bathroom mirrors sized to fill the wall above properly.
- Bathroom tapware: two basin mixers in a matching finish
- Bathroom mirrors: a wide single mirror or two individual mirrors above each basin
- Shaving cabinets: double or triple door cabinets span the width cleanly
- Bathroom accessories: towel rails, robe hooks and toilet roll holders in a consistent finish
- Basin wastes: two wastes required; match the finish to your tapware
