Measure from the wall to your existing waste outlet (the centre of the pipe) – this is your "set-out" distance, usually 90mm, 120mm or 150mm in Australia. Also measure how much space you have side-to-side and front-to-back, especially if it's a small bathroom. You need enough room to sit comfortably and open the door.

Troublesome Caroma Urban 11 Bidet Cleanflush

I have purchased three seperate units of this brand and model in the last year, the total cost including installation well e4xceeding $16000. Each of them has an issue which is different on each toilet. Two of them are in the same apartment and the third is in a holiday home. The apartment toilets were installed by a major bathroom construction company. (Smarter Bathrooms). One of those toilets has never responded properly to the remote control. The drying function does not operate from the remote. It will operate by use of the button on the toilet. Of more concern is the other toilet which is virtually useless because the moveable spout does not extend sufficiently. The third toilet in a holiday house installed by qualified electrician and plumber has a more bizarre fault. It has never worked for some females, particularly those of a lean frame. Phone calls made direct to Caroma about each of the problems are not met with any satisfactory response. Each is still under the two year warranty period and my only recourse now is consumer affairs. In the case of the two apartment toilets, the builders in fact recommended another brand, but because I had had a satisfactory experience with the Caroma brand in the past , I asked for Caroma. I regret that now. I would not recommend this particular product in any way.
