This Table Lamp in Poppyseed glaze is an exercise in clay formation, function and materiality. Cast in recycled stoneware and hand-glazed, the Periwinkle captures light beneath its draped shade, directing it softly downwards while celebrating the unique reactive finish. Each piece is individually crafted in small batches, with natural variations in glaze and tone.

A NOTE ABOUT GLAZES: Due to the nature of clay and Robert Gordon's manufacturing process, variations on shade and colour are a natural feature of ceramic product fired at high temperature. Robert Gordon's glaze formulas are reactive and vary from piece to piece. No two pieces are like.
