AVISA SINK

Lovely looking sink that fits well in our kitchen, great size with a solid feel/look along with easy installation. Purchase and delivery was simple and quick. A couple of niggly issues though that prevented 5 star. (1) The sink does scratch very easily, which I realise does happen with stainless steel, and will blend in over time, the large flat surface probably make it more obvious, so not much you can probably do about that. (2) The drainage could be improved with a slightly larger angle as there is very little tapper to the drain. Finally, it is a very deep, and we wanted something deeper than standard, so we knowingly chose this depth rather than standard, however it would be nice to have a sink that is half way between standard and the depth of this sink. This final point was an educated decision but having the option of a sink a couple of cm's shallower would be welcome. The fact a smaller insertable sink is available was welcome and confirmed our choice to go with this deeper option and is something we will be purchasing soon to provide the versatility of both a huge sink and smaller one when needed. Overall a very good product at a good price, slight improvements would make it perfect.

not so happy with the sink

I loved the sink Brushed Gunmetal Penny 510x450 Single Bowl Sink.
We purchased it because of it colour and durability.
However this was short lived as it scratches extremely easy.
and loses its gorgeous look.
Now i have a new laundry with a sink that looks second hand and old.
I was advised to use the protection grid but this is hard to do in the laundry.
I was also advised to avoid bleach and so on.
I may have chosen a different sink if i had known all this information prior to purchasing.

Lovely sink

I really love this sink. In the middle of renovating our laundry and the sink looks fantastic. The brushed stainless steel looks lovely. The purchase process with Buildmat was so easy and the sink arrived only a few days after the order was placed. Have recommended Buildmat to a friend who is about to begin her laundry renovation.

Sleek and stylish

My new Mira Pull Out Mixer fits perfectly in my newly renovated laundry. The ability to switch the position of the handle allowed my builder to place the mixer in an ideal position despite a tight space. I love the premium look, feel and operation of the mixer!
