Cabinet Handles to Suit Every Room

The type of cabinet handle you choose sets the tone for your cabinetry, and because our range is so extensive, it’s easy to run a cohesive look right through your house. Here’s how we see them working best:

  • Kitchen Cabinet Handles: These are the hardest-working handles in your home. You'll want durable, ergonomic designs like D handles or appliance pulls that give you a great grip for heavy pots-and-pans drawers or integrated fridges.
  • Bathroom Cabinet Handles: Things usually scale down a bit in the bathroom. Knobs, lip pulls, and shorter bar handles work beautifully on bathroom vanities, especially when you match the finish to your bathroom tapware.
  • Laundry Cabinets & Wardrobes Handles: Don't let your utility spaces be an afterthought! Using the same door hardware here ties these rooms back to your main living areas for a really professional, high-end finish.

Explore Cabinet Handle Styles and Shapes

Not sure what shape to go for? The profile of your handle plays a huge part in whether your space feels modern, traditional, or somewhere in between.

  • Cabinet Knobs: You can't go wrong with a classic knob. They're compact, timeless, and perfect for upper cupboards, smaller vanity drawers, or heritage-style homes.
  • Pull Handles & D Handles: Highly practical and really comfortable to use. Their linear shape looks great in contemporary designs and gives you the leverage you need for heavy drawers.
  • Lip Pulls: Mounted right to the edge of the door, lip pulls give you that sleek, almost handleless look that is incredibly popular in minimalist architecture right now.
  • Cup Pulls: The absolute go-to for Hamptons, farmhouse, and shaker-style kitchens. They just bring so much warmth and character.
  • Half-Moon Handles: Want to make a statement? When you mount two half-moon handles side-by-side on double doors, they form a striking full circle.
  • Flush Pulls: Recessed straight into the timber, these are your best bet for sliding doors or ultra-clean, modern joinery.

Finding Your Perfect Cabinet Handle Finish

Matching your cabinet hardware to your tapware is the single best way to make your renovation look intentionally designed. We stock finishes to suit whatever palette you're working with:

  • Matte Black: Bold, modern, and high-contrast. We love seeing these paired with matte black tapware for an industrial or contemporary edge.
  • Brushed Brass: Warm and luxurious. Brushed brass brings a beautiful richness to coastal, Scandi, and classic interiors. It’s a perfect match for our brass gold tapware.
  • Brushed Nickel: The modern alternative to chrome. It has a soft, muted silver tone that hides fingerprints brilliantly — a lifesaver for busy family homes!
  • Bronze & Antique Brass: Deep, rich, and full of history. These living-style finishes are incredible for heritage restorations or just adding depth to a neutral room.
  • White: Clean, subtle, and highly minimalist. White handles blend right into white cabinetry for a seamless look.

FAQS

A good rule of thumb is that your pull handles should be about one-third the length of the drawer or cabinet door. For standard kitchen drawers (up to 600mm wide), handles with a 128mm to 160mm hole centre are usually spot on. If you have wider pan drawers, you'll want to step up to 256mm or 320mm handles. And for those tall pantry doors or integrated fridges? Go for an appliance pull that's 400mm or longer.
CTC stands for Centre-to-Centre, which is the exact distance between the two screw holes on a pull handle. This is the most important measurement! If you are replacing old handles, make sure you measure the distance between your current screw holes — not the total length of the handle from end to end. Getting the CTC right means your new handles will fit perfectly without you having to drill new holes or patch up your cabinets.
It really comes down to the look you want and how you use the space. A lot of renovators love mixing them up: using knobs on upper cabinet doors (since they're lighter and you open them from the corner) and pull handles on lower drawers (because they're heavier and you need a firmer grip). If you do mix them, just make sure both the knobs and pulls are the exact same finish so it looks intentional.
Absolutely, and we highly recommend it! Running the same handle style and finish across your kitchen, bathroom vanities, and laundry cabinets is one of the easiest ways to make your whole home feel cohesive and professionally designed.
